Build a pad
After launch
Running a live pad: the first token, editing the page, and following the money.
Share it
The pad is live at its address the moment the launch lands. Anyone can open it, create a token and trade. The Launch step links to it, and so does the studio's header.
Create the first token
A board with a token on it invites the next one. Open the pad's Create page and make the first token yourself, or launch the pad's own coin there if you chose to. See Create a token.
Edit the page
Open /edit on your pad, for example orchard.padpad.io/edit. You can change:
- the name and the line under it
- the theme, the accent and the board layout
- the banner and the links
Saving asks the wallet that launched the pad to sign a message. Signing a message is not a transaction: it costs nothing and moves nothing. It proves the change comes from the pad's owner.
Follow the money
The pad's Fees page, linked from every page's footer as "Where fees go", shows:
- the fee map the pad launched with
- every pass the router has made, with what it claimed and what it paid
- every payout, with its amount, where it went and its transaction on Solana
- what the router is holding and why: a jackpot pot filling, a stream releasing, a bonus vault, money waiting for a token to graduate
Anyone can open it, so traders and creators can see the plan working too.
The router keeps going
You don't need to do anything for the router to work. It runs on its own schedule, collects what the pad earned and pays it out. Its network fees come out of the pad's own part. See The router.
