Build a pad
The node map
The studio's Fees step, where the fee plan is a map you can wire by hand.
Blocks cover most plans. Behind them is a node map: the same plan drawn as steps connected by lines, where money enters on the left and ends on the right. Open it on the studio's Fees step to build what no block covers, such as a fee that goes one way for young tokens and another for old ones.
Reading the map
- Money enters at two sources: Curve trades and Graduated pool. Each shows the fee for that stage.
- The front of the map belongs to the venue. The venue's cut, the creator split and padpad's 10% come first. Where the venue allows it, you set the fee and the creator share on these nodes; Meteora's curve node also holds the anti-sniper schedule.
- Everything after the pad's handle is yours. Lines carry a weight, the share of what the node before them passes on.
- Colors mean destinations. Blue is holders, orange is burning, green is creators, yellow is treasuries, and so on, the same colors as the blocks.
Steps that pass money on
| Step | What it does |
|---|---|
| Router | Where the pad's part arrives. Sets the claim pass: every 15 or 30 minutes, hourly, every 4 hours or daily. Skip passes under sets the least SOL worth a pass (0.05 SOL by default). |
| Switch | Sends money one way or the other: token younger than some hours, market cap under some SOL, trade larger than some SOL, or trader holds the platform coin. |
| Stream | Releases what it receives evenly over a number of days. |
Steps that change what the money is
| Step | What it does |
|---|---|
| Buy | Turns SOL into a coin: each token, the top token, the pad's own coin, or a coin you name. Can be capped per pass and spread over hours. |
| Swap | Turns SOL into another asset. On Solana through Jupiter: USDC, USDT, cbBTC, WBTC, WETH, JitoSOL or any SPL token. On other chains through NEAR Intents: BTC on Bitcoin, ETH and USDC on Ethereum, USDC and ETH on Base, USDC on Arbitrum, BNB on BNB Chain, NEAR and USDC on NEAR, USDT on TRON and ZEC on Zcash, delivered to the address you give. |
Steps where money ends
Burn, Reward holders, Add to LP, Jackpot, Graduation bonus, Treasury, Wallet, Account and Referrer. They work like the blocks of the same names; Wallet pays any address you type.
Wiring
- Drag from a node's right handle onto another node to connect them, or onto empty space to create a step there.
- Split evenly on a node with several lines gives each the same weight.
- Wiring SOL into Burn adds the Buy it needs on its own.
- Undo and redo work everywhere in the studio (⌘Z / ⌘⇧Z, or Ctrl on Windows).
Checks
The studio checks the map as you build it: a step left unconnected, a treasury with no address, weights that don't add up. Every step in the header shows whether it has something to fix, and the Launch step lists them all. A pad launches once the list is empty.
