The router

The wallet that receives a pad's part of the fees, and the passes it makes to pay it out.

Every pad has a router: a wallet of its own that receives the pad's part of the fees and pays it out through the fee plan. It works in passes, on the schedule the plan sets: every 15 or 30 minutes, hourly, every 4 hours or daily. Hourly is the default.

What a pass does

  1. Finish anything still on its way. Any transfer from the last pass that hasn't been confirmed is checked against the chain first, so nothing is paid twice.
  2. Read the trades. Every swap on the pad's tokens since the last pass, on the curve and in the pool, is read and attributed: which token, which trader, which referrer, what fee.
  3. Collect. It claims the fees due to the pad from the venue, and graduates tokens whose curve is full.
  4. Book what arrived. Each amount is matched to the trades that paid it.
  5. Set aside padpad's 10% where the router pays it (on pump.fun), and pay it.
  6. Route. The pad's part flows through the plan: buys, burns, holder payouts, the jackpot pot, liquidity, treasuries, streams, swaps and bridges to other chains, account escrows, referrers.
  7. Record. Every movement is written down with its transaction and shown on the pad's fees page.

A pass with less than the plan's minimum to route, 0.05 SOL by default, waits for the next.

What it holds between passes

Some money waits on purpose, and the fees page says why:

  • a jackpot pot filling until its draw
  • a stream releasing a little each pass
  • a graduation bonus vault
  • liquidity money waiting for its token to graduate
  • account escrows until they are claimed
  • buys spread over several hours
  • payouts under 0.001 SOL, until they pass it

Costs

The router's network fees and the rent for the accounts it opens come out of the pad's own part. The launch gives it 0.02 SOL to start with.

Who holds the router wallet

padpad's router service holds the wallet's key, encrypted, and signs only the payouts the pad's plan makes. Every one of them is on the pad's fees page with its Solana transaction, so anyone can check the plan against what it did.
