Getting started

Make your first launchpad

From a few sentences to a live launchpad in five steps.

You need a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or any wallet that supports Wallet Standard) with about 0.03 SOL in it. Everything else happens in the browser.

1. Describe it

Open New launchpad and write a brief: who the pad is for, what its fees should do and how it should look. For example:

A pad for independent musicians. Each trade buys back and burns the artist's own token, holders who stay get paid, and a weekly draw pays one trader. Warm, printed-poster look.

Choose Design with AI. AI turns each part of the brief into something concrete: "buys back and burns" becomes the Buy back and burn block, "a weekly draw" becomes a Jackpot drawn every 168 hours, "printed-poster look" becomes a palette and a typeface. It also suggests a name and a line about the pad.

Rather build it yourself? Choose start without one and pick everything by hand.

2. Name it and pick a venue

Give the pad a name and one line about who it is for. The name gives the pad its address: Kiln Records lives at kiln-records.padpad.io. The full studio's Page step lets you set a different one.

Then pick the venue its tokens launch on. Meteora DBC lets you set the trading fee and the curve, pump.fun has a fixed fee and curve, Raydium LaunchLab stacks your platform fee on Raydium's. Choose a venue compares them.

3. Put the fee plan together

The pad's part of every fee is split between blocks. Add the blocks you want and set each one's weight; the shares always add up to 100%. Each block has a few settings of its own, such as how often a jackpot is drawn. Fee blocks explains every one.

4. Design the page

Choose a theme (Night, Paper, Arcade or Terminal), an accent color, a logo and a board layout, or let AI design a look of its own from your brief. Your pad's page has the details.

5. Launch

Choose Create. The studio's Launch step lists everything the transaction does and what it costs. Connect your wallet, approve the one transaction, and the pad is live at its address. Launch walks through it.

Your draft is saved in this browser as you work, so you can close the tab and come back to it. The full studio (Market, Fees, Page, Launch) opens from Open the full studio whenever you want more control than New launchpad gives.

After launch

Open the pad, create its first token, and share the address. The router starts working through the pad's fees on its first pass. See After launch.
