On a pad
Rewards on a pad
Holder rewards, jackpots, graduation bonuses and buybacks, from the side of the people trading.
What a pad pays out is set by its fee plan, which is fixed at launch. The pad's fees page shows its plan and every payout so far. This page explains the rewards from the receiving end.
Holder rewards
On a pad that rewards holders, each pass pays a token's fees to that token's holders, in SOL, straight to their wallets. Nothing to claim. Who counts depends on the pad:
- By conviction. You are paid by the least you held between two passes. Buying just before a pass and selling right after earns nothing; holding through it does.
- By buying. You are paid by how much you bought since the last pass.
Some pads pay holders of the pad's own coin instead, from the fees of every token on the pad.
Jackpots
A jackpot fills from fees and pays random winners when it is drawn, when the pot reaches a set amount or on a schedule. The pot is on the pad's board. Tickets depend on the pad:
- Every trade since the last draw. Each trade is a ticket.
- Every token held on the pad. Holding any of the pad's tokens counts.
- Holders of the pad's own coin.
Each draw is seeded by a Solana blockhash, so nobody picks the winners, and its result shows on the fees page with the payment.
Graduation bonus
A pad with a graduation bonus pays a set amount of SOL to the creator of every token that graduates, from a vault that fills with fees.
Buyback and burn
A pad that buys back and burns uses part of its fees to buy a token on the market and burn what it bought, so its supply only goes down. Depending on the pad, each token buys itself, the top token is bought, or the pad's own coin.
Creator rewards
Besides their share of every trade's fee, a token's creator may get more from the pad: an extra share of what their token's trades bring in, or the graduation bonus. See Create a token.
