Build a pad

Launch

One transaction puts the pad on chain and online.

The studio's Launch step shows everything that is about to happen, in order, before you sign anything: the transaction you sign, what the router will do on its own afterwards, and what it all costs.

Before you launch

  • A wallet with about 0.03 SOL. Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or any wallet that supports Wallet Standard.
  • Nothing left to fix. The step lists anything the plan still needs, such as a treasury address. The Launch button counts them down to zero.

What you sign

One transaction, from your wallet. What it contains depends on the venue:

Venue The transaction
Meteora DBC Creates the pad's DBC config, with padpad's fee splitter as its fee claimer, and sends 0.02 SOL to the router wallet for its network fees.
Raydium LaunchLab Creates the pad's LaunchLab platform, held by the fee splitter: its fee wallet, its Fee Key and the creator of every graduated pool. Sends 0.02 SOL to the router wallet.
pump.fun Creates the pad's lookup table, the accounts every token's create transaction names, and sends 0.02 SOL to the router wallet. Fee sharing is then set in each token's own create transaction.

The splitter holds the pad's role on the venue and nothing else. On every claim it pays padpad 10% of the fee and the pad's part to the router wallet, in the same transaction.

What the router does on its own

After launch the router sets up whatever the plan needs as it first needs it: buy routes, payout vaults, account escrows and swap routes. None of it asks for another signature.

Cost

About 0.03 SOL in all: rent for the accounts the transaction makes, the 0.02 SOL router seed and the network fee. The Launch step quotes the exact figure before you sign, and shows what was paid after. From then on, the router's network fees come out of the pad's own part of the fees.

Publishing

When the transaction lands, the pad is published at its address with the page you designed. The Launch step links to it.

If you chose to launch the pad's own coin here, the next link is Now create your coin: the wallet that launched the pad creates it on the pad's create page, as the pad's first token.
