On a pad
Claim with your account
A pad set money aside for your X or Farcaster account. Here is how to take it.
A pad can hold part of its fees for an account, such as a project's X account or a builder's Farcaster account. The owner doesn't need a wallet in advance. You prove the account is yours by signing in, then say where to send the money.
Claim it
- Open the pad's claim page: its address followed by
/claim, for exampleorchard.padpad.io/claim. - Find the card with your account. It shows what is held for it now.
- Sign in:
- X: choose Continue with X and approve in the window that opens.
- Farcaster: choose Continue with Farcaster and approve the request in your Farcaster app.
- Paste the Solana wallet address that should receive it and choose Claim.
The money is sent from the pad's router wallet. The card shows it confirming, then the transaction. You can claim again whenever more has been set aside.
Email, GitHub, Discord and Telegram accounts are coming in a future update.
How long it is held
Each amount is held for a set time, 90 days unless the pad chose otherwise. The card says when the oldest amount moves on. Amounts nobody claims in time go where the pad decided, the wallet that launched it unless it chose otherwise.
Signing in safely
- You sign in on padpad's own site, wherever the pad itself is served.
- Signing in only proves the account is yours. padpad asks for read access to your profile alone, so it can never post, follow or change anything on the account.
- The first claim of an account's money ties that money to the account's own id at the provider, so a handle that changes hands later can't claim it.
