Where fees go

How each venue's trading fee is split, and where padpad's 10% is taken.

Every trade on a pad pays a fee once, and that fee is split between the venue, the token's creator, padpad and the pad. The venue's cut and the creator's share are never touched: padpad's 10% always comes out of the pad's part.

On the curve

The examples use each venue's default settings.

Meteora DBC

A 1% fee, with 30% of what is left after Meteora's cut going to the creator:

Part Share of the fee Of each trade
Meteora 20% 0.20%
The token's creator 24% 0.24%
padpad 10% 0.10%
The pad's blocks 46% 0.46%

The pad's fee splitter is the config's fee claimer. Each claim pays padpad and the pad's router wallet in the same transaction.

pump.fun

The fixed 1.25% fee, with the creator fee shared half and half between each token's creator and the pad:

Part Of each trade
pump.fun 0.95%
The token's creator 0.15%
padpad 0.125%
The pad's blocks 0.025%

The pad's half of the creator fee reaches its router wallet through pump.fun's fee sharing. The router pays padpad 10% of each trade's whole fee out of it, counted trade by trade from the trades it indexes.

Raydium LaunchLab

Raydium's 0.25%, the pad's 0.75% platform fee and a 0.05% creator fee:

Part Of each trade
Raydium 0.25%
The token's creator 0.05%
padpad 0.105%
The pad's blocks 0.645%

The splitter is the platform's fee wallet. Each claim pays padpad and the router wallet together.

After graduation

padpad takes 10% of the pool's fees too:

  • Meteora DAMM v2. The pad's share of the locked liquidity earns its share of the pool fee. The splitter claims it and pays padpad 10% of the whole pool fee.
  • PumpSwap. The creator fee keeps being shared between the creator and the pad, and the router keeps paying padpad 10%.
  • Raydium CPMM. The pad holds the pool's liquidity as its Fee Key, so the pool's fees beyond Raydium's cut are the pad's. The splitter collects them and pays padpad 10% of the pool fee.

The pad's part, routed

Whatever reaches the router wallet is the pad's to route: its fee plan decides where it goes, and its network fees come out of it. The router shows how a pass works through it, and every pad's fees page lists what it paid.
